Family is at the heart of everything I do.

A mother of two, I understand the many directions a parent is expected to be pulled. Societal pressures are real, whether valid or not, and can certainly cause warranted anxiety. That is why most of my work is done to better and increase the knowledge and resources out there. Writing for parents, by a parent.

Location

I grew up in Southern Maine and currently reside in Scarborough. I love the area for its variety - beaches, marshes, hiking trails, nature preserves, all alongside convenient shopping centers.

Education

I received my bachelor’s degree at The University of Maine Orono. I majored in Psychology with a concentration in social/abnormal psychology and minored in Business Administration. I have also worked my way through most of a graduate degree from The University of Southern Maine in Counseling.

Family

I have an almost two year old, Oliver, and a newborn baby, Nora. They are amazing and becoming a mother has been the most rewarding, empowering, and transformative experience. My husband, Will, and I met when we were young and married in 2020. We also have a 4 year old rescue dog, Briar. We live very close to extended family and enjoy seeing them often!

Hobbies

I have an “everything but the kitchen sink” attitude when it comes to hobbies. I love all things arts and crafts, boating, exploring new places, spending time with family and friends, event planning, volunteering, and pretty much anything else you can think of!

Travel

While in college, I studied abroad in San Sebastián, Spain. In addition to Spain, I have also explored Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, Canada, and many areas of the United States.

Advocacy

It is very important to me to advocate for human rights and the betterment of our planet. I have volunteered with The Rotary Club, political campaigns, United Way, and many other small organizations working to better the world.
